Region Sides

The Wimmera Bowls Region will be partnering with PP & U and the CHS Group to sponsor the Wimmera Bowls Region Representative side. The partnership will be a 3-year long partnership that will see new region uniforms which will be played in for the first time at the Bowls Victoria Region Sides Championships held in Ballarat in 2024 on January 13 and 14.

2024 Bowls Victoria Region Sides Championships

After the completion of the Region Round Robin and the Wimmera vs Murray Mallee Challenge the Wimmera Bowls Region Selectors have selected the sides to represent the region at the Bowls Victoria Region Sides Championships, held in the Ballarat area on January 13 and 14.

Murray Mallee vs Wimmera Challenge Match – Sunday 3rd December

The Wimmera vs Murray Mallee Challenge match will be held on Sunday the 3rd of December at Wycheproof Bowls Club.

Region Round Robin

The Wimmera Region Round Robin will be played Sunday the 19th of November at St Arnaud Country Club. This event will see the best bowlers from around the region represent their playing area and serve as a catalyst for selection into the Wimmera Region side at this year’s 2024 Bowls Victoria Region Sides Championship.

2023 Bowls Victoria Region Sides Championships

The Men’s and Ladies Region squads travelled to Echuca and Moama on May 26-28 for the 2023 Region Sides Championships. The Men finished 3rd in their Silver Tier section, narrowly missing the finals. The ladies finished 7th in their Silver Tier section.
